Neil Hearn, aka (Nellie Hearn) a former Ballroom and Latin American dance champion and now  a qualified dance coach who spent 10 years coaching couples in SE Asia. During Neil's career as a full time dancer he has appeared on various TV stations around the world, more recently appearing on BB2, Gardeners World.

Neil says “I must have been born to dance as that is all I can remember from my childhood. I won many competitions both here in the UK and overseas to include championships and retired from the dance world in 2003 though still performs on the odd occasion"  Neil continues.

"I woke up a few years ago and suddenly had an urge to go out and buy some paint brushes, I have no idea where this came from. I was soon surprised by my hidden talents and I’m convinced that my dance background must have had some hidden influence on my artist talents". I paint what i feel, not what I see and there are two very important factors with each painting I create, movement and colour.

Neil is now exporting art to all corners of the globe and to date he has produced in excess of 1300 original artworks, the vast majority being sold immediately upon release and sold over 18,000 limited edition prints of the original paintings. 

Medias used are acrylics, pastels, watercolours and brusho with generally a combination.

Neil now lives in rural Wiltshire and is married to Jonathan Hearn.
